Milky sludge on oil stick

2007 Saturn Vue 2.2 Vacuum hose going from engine to air intake duct was full of milky substance. Remove oil stick and found no oil on stick just milky sludge. No sign of antifreeze. Just changed oil 1000 miles ago, was down 2 qaurts. Vehicle has 50K on it.

mpm359, (You said) Remove oil

mpm359,

(You said) Remove oil stick and found no oil on stick just milky sludge.

IN RARE CASES, your above statement would indicate a PCV VALVE issue (and or) a PCV SYSTEM issue.

You still need to RULE OUT a "Head Gasket" issue. You can do that with a "Block Tester Kit". Auto Zone stores offer a FREE "Tool Loaner Service", where you can borrow a Block Tester Kit". Be sure to follow all instructions with the kit EXACTLY.

GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS!!!

I believe theirs no PCV Valve

I believe theirs no PCV Valve on the Vue 4cyl, although could the vent purge solenoid cause this type of problem?

mpm359, NOT a "Vent Purge

mpm359,

NOT a "Vent Purge Solenoid" issue, and CAN'T take this issue to the NEXT LEVEL (if necessary) till you post the results of a "Block Test".

You can do that with a "Block Tester Kit". Auto Zone stores offer a FREE "Tool Loaner Service", where you can borrow a Block Tester Kit" FOR FREE. Be sure to follow all instructions with the kit EXACTLY.

GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS!!!

Do the block test that BB

Do the block test that BB suggests. You almost assuredly have a bad head gasket. You won't see anti-freeze in the oil, you'll just see the oil go to the color of a latte.
